The Explosive Wire Trap is a one use only trap that was added in update v0.14 to The Forest.

Gameplay

The explosion is powerful enough to destroy several layers of walls, so the trap shouldn't be placed close to walls and buildings. It is not possible to destroy, deconstruct or otherwise remove the trap. The player can trigger this by running through it, so it is recommended to keep a safe distance after construction. It can be triggered by certain projectiles, all arrows and flintlock pistol shots.
