The Virginia Photo, or the photo of Virginia, is a story item added in v0.18 to The Forest.
Gameplay
It is simply a photograph of a Virginia, one of the peninsula's many mutants. Unlike most items, it doesn't appear in the player's inventory once picked up, but is instead added to the Notes section of the Survival Guide. It can be found in the sailboat along with the Yacht Magazine and several drawings of the resurrection obelisk.
Theory
It can be assumed that the yacht owners knew what they were getting into before coming to the island, as based on the Virginia photo and the obelisk drawings.
