The Stick Holder is a storage structure that has two variations, the small version was added in update v0.03 and the large version was added in update v0.48 in The Forest.

Gameplay

The small and large stick holder cost and hold different amounts. Both are found under stick holder in the storage section in the survival guide, use R to the blueprint to change it. Once its blueprint is placed, it can be changed to its upgraded version, the Large Stick Holder by pressing (default R).

After approaching the stick holder the player can store sticks from their inventory when there is space left, using the Craft button (default C) and remove them by using the Take button (default E).

After being placed, the stick holder can be destroyed by hitting it repeatedly with some kind of weapon.

The stick holder's blueprint can be placed like most others and is only placeable on solid ground. Once placed it requires 6 sticks to build and stores up to 20 sticks. Alternatively the stick holder can be upgraded (default key R) before starting to build, changing its blueprint to a distinct square shape and now requiring 24 sticks to build. This upgraded version of the stick holder provides storage for up to 40 sticks, thus being technically less resource efficient while taking up less space than two normal stick holders.
