The rabbit fur decoration, also known as rabbit skin rug, decorative rabbit skin or decorative rabbit fur, is a decorative building that was added in update v0.27 of The Forest.
Gameplay[]
The player can access from the decorations tab of the survival guide. The player can place the rabbit fur decoration on surfaces such as a bed or a wall. It appears exactly the same as if the rabbit fur was on the ground, though this permanently attaches it. The player cannot recover the rabbit fur once it has been placed. It player can use the hole cutter to remove it, though be careful not to clear other buildings in the process.

If the rabbit fur decoration isn't suitable, the player can build the deer skin decoration instead. Keep in mind that the deer skin variation is much larger. The player might have issues with collision in tight spaces:
