Grass covers most of the ground in The Forest. There are numerous types of grasses that can be found, and unlike other small plants they cannot be interacted with. Grass can protrude through buildings and floors which can be quite frustrating. Using console commands, you can cut grass though it may grow through again when saving and reloading. It is possible to clear grass using rock paths or basic fires, though be careful not have these protrude through your floors as well. As of update v0.11, the grass density can be adjusted using a slider in the options menu (Grass density can not be adjusted on PS4)
