Circuit boards are a material item that was added in update v0.01 to The Forest.

Gameplay

Circuit boards are exclusively used to make bombs, they currently have no other purpose. They can be found in various locations throughout the map. Laptops and Circuit Board Crates can be smashed open with most melee weapons to retrieve circuit boards. A player's inventory can hold a maximum of 5.

The player can hold a maximum of 5 bombs, and 4 wrist watches as well. If the player has maxed out bombs and their inventory is full. They should check if they can make a head bomb, this can prevent wastage plus give the player an extra bomb.
