The bomb, known as explosives are an artisanal explosive weapon that were added in update v0.01 to The Forest.

Gameplay[edit | edit source]

Thrown bombs will take 4 seconds to explode and slide on the ground, both which make it hard to hit faster targets.
The sliding can be avoided by combining them with sap to craft sticky bombs.

Most of the time when animals, cannibals and mutants are killled by the explosion will be blown to bits, leaving no items behind.

Bombs can also be used to destroy:

They can also be used to craft the stronger, but harder to use head bombs or set up as explosive wire traps.
Because bombs can easily get rid of unwanted AND wanted structures, they should be used with caution.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • In earlier versions of the game, bombs were the only way to kill armsys.
  • In update v0.71, electrical tape was added to the game and was made a requirement of crafting bombs at the same time.
