Armor is a stat that helps protect the player from certain types of damage. Cold armor is completely different, it only adds protection from cold elements.
Gameplay[edit | edit source]
Armor protects the player, whether from damage or temperature, and diminishes as damage is taken. Armor behaves as an additional health pool when worn, protecting damage to the health meter entirely. The meter on the left of the health bar indicates the amount of armor you are wearing and will fill up with different colors, depending on what the player has equipped. Armor is increased by using one of the armor items below from the inventory.
Falling damage and poison damage will bypass armor and directly harm the player. Crocodiles and sharks attacks will also bypass armor. There is currently no way to remove armor specifically, though placing other types of armor on top of a max set of armor will remove the other types. Equiping a warmsuit will take your armor off and put it back in your inventory because cold armor takes the place of protective armor. If the type of armor is maxed and the player adds the same armor type it will waste the armor. For example, if the player has max bone armor and adds more bone armor, it will disappear and no benefit is yielded.

Cold Armor[edit | edit source]
Cold Armor (Warmsuit) is a completely different type of armor that can help in preventing frost damage to a player as well as reducing the energy drain associated with being cold. The warmer the player is, the longer it will take for cold damage to take an effect. If the player has maxed warm armor, it is possible they won't take any cold damage even when shivering and standing still for a long period of time. Rabbit fur boots provide 20 cold armor, this is permanent providing the player is wearing them.
